Heather Lingle

Heather Lingle is a Montana-based, Texas-born singer/songwriter with two albums out and a third due to be released in late 2017. Coyote Beauty, her first album, appeared on indie charts in the States and Japan in 2012. Her second album, Welcome to Blue Town, was named by LivelyTimes.com among the top favorite Montana-made albums of 2015.

Heather has been performing her brand of Americana music in the West year-round for over five years. After a recent successful trip to Nashville, she is making plans to spend more time there for music work.

She grew up in a musical family in Texas and is cousin to the late Cowboy Slim Rinehart, one of the original "Singing Cowboys” of the 1930s and ‘40s. He was inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996. Heather hopes to carry out his legacy.

I joined Music Biz Besties because I understand the value of networking and building relationships, and I’d love to be a part of this community. Last month I played at Bobby’s Idle Hour as a guest artist from Montana for Girl Guitar. (I’ve played gigs with their founder, Mandy Rowden.) While there, I heard three singer/songwriters from Music Biz Besties perform, and they were all so talented. That has really piqued my interest as I begin making plans to spend more time in Nashville. =-)
