Linda Mckenzie is a performing singer-songwriter based out of Lebanon, Tennessee. Always writing & recording, Linda performs a variety of music from fresh originals to creative cover tunes ... with a big "Flex" on "Genre" because less face it, life changes … and songs do too. A sort of Americana/Roots/Blues/Contemporary Country/Cowgirl singer with a dash of bluegrass, Linda can be found performing solo at coffee houses, fairs, festivals, and house concerts across the U.S. . . . or going full guns with her 5 piece Pro Nashville band, Gypsy South. A New Orleans native growing up with Dixieland roots, this cowgirl wannabe spent her teen years in "Nawlin's" without a horse, and then quickly dashed off in her twenties to explore the Big Sky Country of Montana as a young touring musician (the guitar was cheaper than the horse). Linda's music reflects the beauty of the west, its wide open spaces, then flips back to her cajun roots and Nashville 80's influences. Really a musical mess, Linda's songs are inspired by life, love, travel, people, places, and certainly ... situations .... lots of situations. You don't choose music, it chooses you.
