A little bit about our team:
A&R Administration is responsible for clearing all art, audio and video elements for Warner Bros. Records artists. This includes budgeting, contracting and coordinating all components associated with delivery of each release.
High Level Job Description:
The coordinator, A&R Administration will assist in third party vendor set ups, payment of invoices, and clearance of art and video assets, while also helping to monitor budgets for Creative Services.
Here you’ll get to:
Enter all Purchase Reqs in Ariba based on the art and video workbooks for all artist on the front-line WBR roster
Clear video productions and video content for commercial release, while working on multiple projects simultaneously
Set up of third-party vendors and process payments for all packaging design elements
Run ad hoc queries in SAP on project spend and do adjustments if necessary
Submit insurance declarations to insurance company for all upcoming photo shoots and provide COI’s when requested
Assist the Director, A&R Administration with drafting agreements for photo shoots and cover art as needed
Participate in quarter-end close with the finance department for insurance chargebacks and rollover purchase orders
Primary back-up for the department assistant position – will include answering phones, vendor set up and invoice submission for A&R Administration team
Rockstar candidates will be:
Knowledge and understanding of artist recording agreements and recoupment terms
Familiarity with language in IP agreements
Experienced with SAP and/or Ariba
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
Highly organized individual that has strong attention to detail and follow through
Ability to cultivate strong cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with team members and third-party vendors
Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously to ensure best practices are adhered to
Able to prioritize projects within tight release deadlines
4-year degree from an accredited university
1-2 years’ experience working in the entertainment industry, music industry experience a plus
Light Excel skills
Understanding of A/P processing
