Department Description

The Creative Synch Licensing department is responsible for placing Warner Brother Records' music in films, trailers, television shows, promos and sports programming

Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities

  • Daily Administrative duties supporting SVP, Creative Sync Licensing, Director, Creative Sync Licensing, and Manager, Creative Sync Licensing; manage phones, schedules, create reports and materials for meetings and presentations, book travel and prepare monthly expense reports accurately and in a timely manner

  • Acquire and maintain assets and data from A&R, marketing, studio and various sources (e.g. instrumentals, files, remixes, publishing information, 3rd party rights and sample information)

  • Manage and coordinate ticket solicitations, show invites/outreach, ticket distribution and delivery

  • Maintain and develop internal systems and databases

  • Create and distribute internal Sync Alerts, artist licensing history and pitch/target reports

  • Execute digital and physical delivery of music and marketing information to clients

  • Liaise daily and network with colleagues at music departments at film studios, television networks, music supervisors and trailer houses

  • Collect and organize information on upcoming projects and schedules from studios, networks, music supervisors, trailer houses and trade resources

  • Organize artist showcases with film studios, television networks and music supervision community

Required Competencies/Skills

  • 0-2 years of experience

  • MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Knowledge and understanding of synchronization process

  • Must be organized, reliable and a people person

  • The ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
