This role gives you the opportunity to be involved in all facets of media relations including set up and service of digital press releases and interfacing with independent radio consultants for radio press. This person will be the US point person for music servicing.

Here You’ll Get To

  • Set up and service digital press releases through Exact Target

  • Work with product managers and duplication house on manufacturing and label copy of advance CD/DVD

  • Assemble and complete advance CD mailings

  • Maintain media relations database

  • Scan and assemble bi-weekly electronic clip pack

  • Track and maintain media clips for archiving or delivery to management

  • Maintain media website

  • Assist with video ordering, duplication, & research through DVS

  • Coordinate Artist travel/arrangements and compile thorough itinerary for all parties involved

  • Interface with independent radio consultants

  • Set up digital music servicing to radio through PlayMPE

  • Create & service electronic one sheets to radio stations

  • Oversee creation of radio samplers

  • Service physical product to multiple radio outlets for airplay and giveaways

  • Set up lists in Exact Target for radio blasts

  • Coordinate paid promos

  • Be responsible for all marketing department invoice processing

  • Issue & track purchase orders

  • Management and follow up on payments in ARIBA and SAP

  • Point person for all new and existing vendors to ensure accounts are set up to be paid

  • Maintain global bill back information on behalf of U.S. Marketing team to be delivered to finance on a quarterly basis for review

  • Point person for accounts payable and finance department

  • Ordering of all marketing request for PMDJ

  • Organize Ticket buys and communicate with venues to track confirmations/will call info for recipients and receipts to provide to Finance

  • General office duties & administrative tasks such as ordering supplies

  • Ensure department is organized and product is put away and allocated

  • Other special projects as needed

Rockstar Candidates Will Be Able To

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities and styles

  • Fast paced work environment requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and a high attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of all standard computer programs (PC experience: Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet)

It would be music to our ears if you also had:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1-3 years’ experience working in Publicity or Radio
