Job description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the VPs of Engineering, Design and Marketplace Intelligence for the Creator team at Spotify.

The Creator organization is a cross functional 300 person department focused on building features and services that help artists (and the teams around them) grow, engage, monetize and understand their fans. You’ll be at the center of that organization in supporting and providing structure to various senior leaders.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the coordination of events and meetings in the Engineering, Design, and Marketplace Intelligence Creator lead teams

  • Schedule VP’s work related meetings and events including managing calendars on short notice

  • Assist in the research of candidates for recruiting efforts

  • Help the VPs allocate their time and energy to the most important areas

  • Handle expense reports and other day to day administration

  • Coordinate extensive business travel logistics with detailed itineraries

  • Oversee the day-to-day team operations including: facilities, errands, ordering supplies and catering

  • Coordinate setup and execution of off-site/team building activities and departmental social events

  • Help with coordination of Hack Week and resulting follow up initiatives

  • Create and maintain an organized library of resources for the organization

  • Assist lead EA with various projects as needed

Who You Are

  • An executive assistant with at least 5+ years experience reporting to a C level executive or VP

  • Highly organized and efficient with meticulous attention to detail

  • Able to bring a focused and steady sense of administrative and operational expertise while remaining calm under pressure

  • A loyal self starter, forward thinker and problem solver

  • Able to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and expectations, and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities

  • Accomplished in mastering an ever changing and challenging schedule

  • Proactive and can anticipate needs and/or changes that may occur

  • Able to be a team player and work effectively with other team members & staff

  • A true travel hacker – able to find the best itinerary and logistical options

  • Experienced in working in a fast paced dynamic and international environment

  • Excellent proficiency using Mac programs, Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Google suite

  • Highly proactive and able to initiate change in a constructive way

  • A personal connection to supporting teams and helping enable them to do their best work

  • Incredibly approachable, genuine and a true “chameleon” of various personality types
