Job Description

Provides administrative support to VP and CFO, coordinates and attends Board committee meetings and takes minutes, develops and distributes presentation materials, and periodically supports the other staff members reporting to the VP and CFO, as requested.  

Position Elements:

  • Facilitates written and verbal, internal and external communications from and to the VP and CFO.

  • Develops presentation materials for the Board of Directors and for Committee meetings.  

  • Manages VP and CFO’s schedule as requested; prioritizes and screens calls for VP and CFO; arranges for travel for VP and CFO as requested; prepares expense reports as requested.

  • Acts as effective ambassador for Finance, building excellent rapport with Board members who serve on financial committees, representing Finance effectively with all departments, and being a good advocate with external audiences.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.

  • At least 5 years’ experience as assistant to a senior executive.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to set and change priorities in response to a dynamic office environment.

  • Strong writing, editorial, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, track projects in a timely manner, and follow-up promptly and accurately.
