1) Piano Instructor – Teacher Training Program

Salary $27.50/hr for private instruction/$32.50 for group / $2.50/hr raise effective immediately after the training period.

All trainees will receive detailed and constructive training through observation, lesson planning, readings and piano teacher forums.  For a syllabus and more information about this program, please contact us directly.

Responsibilities Teach private piano and voice lessons to students of all ages and abilities; Collaborate with faculty to write innovative curricula and lesson plans

Beginning Date April 1, 2018

Requirements Applicants must be highly committed and skilled teachers with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in piano performance or pedagogy.  Training in Kodaly methodology is a plus.

2) Violin Instructor – Teacher Training Program

Salary $27.50/hr for private instruction/$32.50 for group / $2.50/hr raise effective immediately after the training period.

3) Guitar Instructor — Teacher Training Program

Salary $27.50/hr for private instruction/$30 for group / $2.50/hr raise effective immediately after the training period.

Responsibilities Teach private guitar lessons to students of all ages and abilities; Collaborate with faculty to write innovative curricula and lesson plans

Beginning Date June 1, 2016

Requirements Applicants must be highly committed and skilled teachers with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in guitar performance or pedagogy.  Training in Kodaly methodology is a plus.

4) Substitute Piano, Violin, or Guitar instructor.

Salary $30/hr for private instruction. $35 for group.

Responsibilities Teach private instrumental lessons to students of all ages and abilities to students as a substitute teacher when their primary teacher is away. Follow lesson plans provided by primary teacher. Give a full report to primary teacher.

Requirements Applicants must be highly committed and skilled teachers with a degree in music and experience teaching piano.
