The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has an opening for a Full-Time, Exempt Human Resources Coordinator in the Human Resources Department.

Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum documents and interprets the history of country musica musical genre and culture central to the identity of the city, the state, and the nation. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the museum proudly combines subject expertise, ambitious research, and preservation of an unparalleled collection with expressions of creativity in music, art, and history. The museum collects artifacts that illustrate the evolving history and traditions of country music while providing diverse learning opportunities. The core exhibit follows the story of country music from its folk beginnings through its emergence as a commercial art form. Rotating exhibits examine a broad range of topics, from country classics to ultra-contemporary and emerging artists in American Currents. The museum owns Hatch Show Print, a letterpress print shop opened in 1879, and it operates Historic RCA Studio B, where Elvis Presley and many others recorded.

Departmental Overview:

The HR Department is responsible for all aspects of the employment life cycle and employee experience, including Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training, Compliance, Compensation, Professional Development, Wellness and Staff Engagement. Our goal is to support our staff and others in a professional manner as well as being a brand ambassador to external clients. We strive to provide excellent customer service with everyone we interact with on a daily basis so that we may exceed their expectations.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for employment services coordination, personnel file maintenance, as well as onboarding and offboarding processes in support of the small but mighty Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Coordinator will work to coordinate and expand the successful recruiting, onboarding and offboarding processes in support of all organizational divisions and will advise hiring managers on employment issues related to staffing, applicant tracking system, and recruitment and interview processes and procedures. The Human Resources Coordinator will maintain accurate and complete personnel files on each employee and assist with projects on an as needed basis. The Human Resources Coordinator will act as a liaison between Hiring Managers and the Human Resources Department to collect and review all onboarding and offboarding paperwork for new hires and existing employees including Payroll Status Change forms, background checks, I-9 documents, etc. In everything, the Human Resources Coordinator will ensure accuracy and the highest level of friendly service while maintaining confidential information and working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
