CAA is seeking a Junior Designer to support the CAA Foundation and Innovation teams. The Designer will take an active role in managing the design of a wide range of creative materials from concept development, design and execution.
Conceptualize, design, produce and deliver creative assets for a wide range of projects and events, including presentation / sales decks, newsletters, invitations, websites (front-end), logos, branded materials and collateral.
Lead and participate in creative brainstorms for design projects.
Prepare pitch materials and accurately articulate creative concepts and rationale .
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to ensure consistency with CAA’s brand standards and excellence of design .
Develop brand books and style guides.
Maintain extensive database of creative materials and assets for all departmental projects.
Stay up-to-date on current design trends.
Maintain and expand Take Action brand (Foundation specific) .
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic arts, fine arts, visual arts, visual communications or a related creative field.
2-3 years of professional experience working in creative environments, such as design firms, advertising, digital agencies, in-house creative departments, and / or as a Freelance Designer.
Demonstrate an understanding of effective brand development and management, and an ability to create / maintain branded materials that accurately represent a company or event through correct implementation of logos, fonts, color palettes, etc.
Must submit a portfolio of design work showcasing original design work. Candidates should be mindful to include a range of creative projects, including presentations, front-end web and mobile projects, and packaging / product designs.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and an understanding of new technologies.
Advanced Keynote and PowerPoint skills; Ability to swiftly and skillfully design stylish, original decks and restyle existing decks.
Understanding of user interface principles and working knowledge of self-publishing platforms (Squarespace, Wordpress, Mailchimp) is a plus.
Background in photography a plus.
