Job Description

Under general supervision, with some latitude for independent judgment and decision making is responsible for representing Warner Music Nashville’s artist roster in the online space by utilizing social media, email marketing, and fan engagement campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Build content and messaging calendar for all artist releases and activations

  • Administrate day-to-day content publishing around releases, videos, announcements, tour dates, or other significant events

  • Brainstorm, plan, and execute social media marketing campaigns

  • Responsible for generating all content for and scheduling artist/label email newsletters

  • Educate artists, managers, and internal team about emerging platforms

  • Manage onboarding and content strategy for new social platforms

  • Plan and execute interactive fan activations and award voting campaigns

  • Manage content flow (including but not limited to copy, videos, photos, and audio) with artist, artist management, WMN Creative, WMN marketing teams, and 3rd party content aggregators

  • Provide direction for overall use of content throughout: website, fan-clubs, social media, 3rd party sites, etc.

  • Work alongside E-Commerce team to promote sales initiatives and priority promotions via web content, email marketing, and social messaging (Album pre-sales, Holiday promotions, etc…)

  • Maintain frequent communication with WEA Artist Services team to maintain best practices in email marketing

  • Execute activations with digital partners including crossposting, Facebook Lives, and various social takeovers

  • Work alongside Director, Interactive Marketing to build and execute online advertising campaigns for all releases

  • Collaborate with Fan Engagement Strategist to set benchmarks and evaluate campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong work ethic, organization skills, and extreme attention to detail

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, execute tasks, and handle multiple, diverse assignments simultaneously

  • Must produce quality work, be a self-starter, and take responsibility/ownership of tasks

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and be highly collaborative

  • Driven to be innovative, think outside the box, and suggest improvements within scope of work

  • Must anticipate needs and create efficient and effective processes

  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations


  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple social media platforms for an artist or brand required, including copywriting and content creation

  • Music industry background preferred

  • Experience working with Artists and Artist Management teams is beneficial
