In this position you are responsible for generating and executing publicity campaigns with an emphasis on multi-platform features for celebrity clients. This includes building narrative, high volume pitching and securing opportunities that are creative, cutting edge and original. We expect that you'll utilize previous relationships, constantly pursue new ones and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once while remaining organized, detail oriented and professional. This role position demands a high level of time management, innovative thinking and large amounts of client communication. Strong knowledge of digital media and trends is required. Familiarity with online and print media advertising is ideal but not required.
Executing publicity campaigns through pitching, presenting, logistics and reporting
Ideating and creating feature angles and coverage opportunities
Copywriting for articles and feature build outs, including creative/photography element arrangement (via Creative department) when needed by outlet
Writing bios, boiler plates, media blasts & press releases
Pitch and deliver local PR wins
Pitch and deliver national PR wins
Pitch and deliver niche industry & trade wins
Securing multi-platform coverage with outlets (social takeovers, email marketing, subscribers network, etc)
Facilitating client initiation, status & planning meetings & conference calls
Utilizing Cision, Meltwater & LinkedIn to generate new relationships
Supervising phoners and proofreading/fact checking email interviews
Ensuring agreed upon coverage elements are accomplished and client information is accurate when it runs/goes live
Compiling & presenting wraps, clippings and weekly reporting
Contributing to pitch decks and proposal documents
Arranging & attending in-office visits & desk-side interview for clients in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Nashville
Participation and compliance to department processes and procedures as well as Marbaloo’s excellence standards
Monitoring and staying ahead of industry trends
You’ll be responsible for scheduling your own calls, expense reports and travel

A minimum of 3 years public relations/media relations experience
Excellent PR, communications and writing skills
Results oriented and experienced in media pitching or in editorial role
Demonstrated knowledge/understanding of PR, media and news value
Strong media contacts (specifically in the areas of lifestyle, product & tech)
Ability to independently handle multiple tasks on deadline in fast-paced environment
Strategic and creative thinker
Ability to work calmly and professionally with eccentric clients
Positive attitude and team player
