Red Rock Productions is a national Concert Promotion and Production company based in Appleton, Wisconsin. We work with the biggest artists, agencies, and venues to promote and produce concerts in the Fox Valley, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and nationally.

About the Position

The Social Media Manager position will initially begin as a 90 day contract. After 90 days, contract employees will be eligible for full time employment.

Pay will begin at $35,000 annually, pay negotiable upon job offer.

Red Rock’s In-Office hours can range from 10am to 7pm, Monday through Friday. However, flexibility during the workweek AND weekends is crucial to this position. It is preferred that any candidate be open to work on weekends. On call hours may be required.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities

  • Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI

  • Create and manage different marketing campaigns for various projects

  • Collaborate with Artist Social Media Managers to work cohesively to advertise an event.

  • Monitor the Red Rock Productions Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Website daily

    • Answer visitor questions in a timely manner

  • Create custom content to be posted on Social Media Platforms

  • Collaborate with Charitable Partners and Sponsors to create content

  • Work with creative team to coordinate preparation of required digital assets for a given campaign

  • Assist in gathering data from various sources for preparation of social recap reports to include performance, expenses, and sales for distribution to tour marketers, managers and internal staff

  • This person is responsible for marketing a large portfolio of Red Rock Productions Concerts. You will be responsible for ensuring Event-based media programs are set up to maximize attendance and ticket sales.

  • Work closely with artist marketing team to provide guidance and strategy on paid media campaigns across all digital channels and integrate with other marketing channels.

  • Optimize placement and targeting of online media buys using internal KPI measurement system and proactively drive change in planning/buying process across the various US Concert/Shows.

Social Media Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising or a related field is preferred

  • 1-2 years’ experience in digital / social marketing, or entertainment field

  • Exceptional attention to detail specific to data entry and reporting

  • Manage a high volume of information in a fast paced environment

  • Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and various other social marketing platforms

  • Previous experience with online performance reporting, analytics and data analysis

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects for on time delivery

  • Motivated Self Starter with a proactive nature and able to work in a very fast paced environment

  • High proficiency in MS Office – particularly Excel, Microsoft Office, and Adobe are a must

  • Active online and on mobile with intellectual curiosity about the field of digital advertising

  • General knowledge of music, entertainment, technology is preferred
