Job Description
Concord Music is the independent, worldwide leader in the development, acquisition and management of recorded music, music publishing and theatrical performance rights.
Concord Music is seeking a Sync Coordinator for our Recorded Music Sync Department
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain and Distribute Product –Departmental mailings, e-blasts through Mailchimp & product ordering and servicing. Managing music library through DISCO pitching system. Digital distribution and organization of music from all labels, including all metadata and publishing information. Track down audio assets i.e. hi res files, new catalog masters, remixes, acoustic versions. Maintain one stop library and add new one stops. Maintain sample database.
Licensing Database – Responsible for Master sync licensing database entry. Input all of the Concord Recorded Music Quotes. Print reports for SVP based on Artist, label group. Time period. Track release dates.
New Release Music Calendar – maintain new release schedule for department
Contacts/Event Management- Help to maintain the department’s vital list of client contact information for digital music distribution as well as show invites. Handle RSVPs for all artist shows in each market and maintain artist on the road document
Prepare marketing materials for sync team for events, mailings, presentations
Assist department as a whole with creative ideas for searches
Collect and archive weekly sync highlights
Outline of Specific Functions:
Product Distribution Management
Putting the product into the hands of music supervisors in the format they require
Compose One Sheets for each specific release with publishing information, suggested tracks, and recent publicity
Create e-blasts using Mail Chimp in order to deliver music, highlight certain projects, live music events, Awards and inform music supervisors of new releases
Order necessary product from EGratis webpage to be sent here or to a specific client who requested it
Event Management
. Responsible for all guest lists in all cities where we have clients. Maintain Google document with artists on the road and update contact data base of show invite lists, Work with each label on sync ticket buys and ticket allotments for licensing. Attend shows in LA area.
Independent Licensing Management
Point of contact for general licensing email for Recorded Music. Provide the licensing request form and gather as much information about the project as possible
Advise them to get approval from the publisher and provide them with contact information
Once all information has been provided, work with VP and SVP to secure a proper quote.
General & Other
Work cooperatively with the other employees at the Company as well as outside companies
Anticipate the needs and unspecified tasks that may be needed to enhance the work by the SVP and the Company
Creative assistance in licensing projects
Requirements
Experience is not required but history of administrative and organizational support provided to a high level executive is a plus.
Ability to handle administrative tasks quickly and with an extremely high degree of accuracy
Good with people when meeting new business contacts and potential clients
Excellent general computer and internet skills; specific proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Social Media tools, and knowledge of PowerPoint, Graphic Design
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks
Ability to work well within a team
A professional, pleasant and friendly demeanor
Good judgment, particularly with respect to confidential matters
