Job Description

Strategic Sourcing is responsible for assisting organizations within Pandora with their technology sourcing needs. This ranges from procurement of goods for the production and non-production environments as well as software services that we provide internally.

We are looking for a Vendor Manager to join our team and manage all aspects of sourcing to procurement for internal teams such as Sales, HR, and Enterprise Systems.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor selection, onboarding, supplier management, contract review, metrics, pricing negotiation and communications. This role involves working very closely with vendors, SaaS providers, and suppliers and requires experience in project management, impeccable attention to detail, intimate understanding of contracts as well as excellent communication skills.


  • Establish yourself as a primary point of contact, managing negotiations and handling contract issues for technology solutions with focus on software products

  • Manage Enterprise Systems vendors’ contract relationships

  • Review all agreements and orders for content, including but not limited to, SLAs, T&Cs, contracts, requirements, pricing accuracies and legal compliance and contract terms

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to carry out the source to procure process

  • Review and prepare contract summaries, to include analyzing bid and quote results and making recommendations for award of contracts

  • Able to interact with both Pandora and third party corporate officers

  • Partner closely with corporate purchasing, FP&A, project managers and other key stakeholders on all vendor-related tasks and help drive the strategies, requirements and direction

  • Participate in the review of the bid and quote processes, vendor selection, and contract preparation

  • Ensure that all policies, terms, and procedures regarding contracts and commitments are followed

  • Ensure that vendor performance and evaluation activities such as invoice validations are completed and aligns to Pandora’s corporate and compliance policies

  • Evaluate budget and determine appropriate financial commitment

  • Manage and track all contract renewals, licenses, and usage to ensure sufficient coverage

  • Open, accurate and timely communication with cross-functional teams is a must 


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience requiring vendor management and managing projects/programs and budgets

  • Experience with enterprise software suppliers specifically in Cloud/SAAS environments

  • Experience with contract reviews and negotiations

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and systems and software licensing principles required

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles ideal

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and in office tools such as MS Office

  • Extreme attention to detail and a high degree of organization required

  • Self-motivated and possess strong sense of personal ownership and follow through

  • Candidate must possess excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Flexible and open to a constantly changing environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Financial analysis experience a plus
