Job Description
Capitol CMG is looking for a Coordinator, Video Production to create video projects, digital ad assets and complete administrative tasks to support artist releases and label initiatives as direct support to the video content and digital marketing teams. Creation of video assets from master videos and album packaging for delivery on artist social accounts and digital advertising platforms. In addition, you will have the responsibility of managing and setting up gear for shoots, while also serving as a camera operator during such shoot. Editing of video liners for radio, marketing, streaming accounts and socials. Archive and manage all video masters onto corporate servers and Vimeo accounts.
Job Functions:
Editing of “behind the scenes” content, song stories, album recording, acoustic performances, and social clips in coordination with current marketing plan initiatives
Additional crew-member and camera op on all video shoots
Production Assistant for coordinating gear for shoots including load inand load out, picking up gear rentals, wrapping set, etc.
Creating clips for distribution of visual content on artist social platforms including video clips for Instagram, Facebook and more.
Work with video team for internal and external video projects for on-time delivery to supply chain.
Work with Video Content Manager to archive all video content
Handling of video masters, digital files & footage elements.
Provide additional A/V support for marketing events with artists.
Create video compilations and artist highlight reels for internal and external presentations
Editing of video liners for sales accounts, press, digital and radio.
Desire to learn motion graphics to create engaging lyric videos and social content
Managing/creating streaming, watermarked, confidential preview links of roughs
Stay up to date on all specs and deliverable requirements for various content
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Media Encoder)
Basic knowledge of After Effects and desire to grow
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
Knowledge of video codecs and how to transcode between them
Knowledge and understanding of social media
Knowledge of audio recording/editing software is a plus

Experience:
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro
Candidate must be tech savvy and proficient in Mac OSX
3-5 years experience as a Video Editor

Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred
